Howard Gardens is perfectly located for exploring everything Cardiff has to offer. You're just a short walk from the city's biggest attractions, including the Principality Stadium, Utilita Arena, St David’s shopping centre, and the bustling bars and restaurants of the city centre. With a Tesco Express just across the road, grabbing essentials is easy. Cardiff Central Station is about a 15-minute walk away, making it simple to arrive by train or head out for day trips. The area is lively but residential, offering a balance of convenience and calm. Whether you're here for a rugby weekend, a concert, or a city break, you'll find everything you need right on your doorstep. Arriving by Train: The nearest station is Cardiff Queen Street (approx. 10 min walk). Cardiff Central Station is about a 15–20 minute walk or a short taxi ride. Both stations have easy links to London, Bristol, Swansea, and other UK cities. Arriving by Car: Paid on-street parking is available nearby. Please do not park in the Enterprise Car Club bay directly outside — it's reserved for car club members and may result in a fine. An EV charging point is located just 1 minute's walk away. By Bus: Regular buses run along Newport Road, just steps from the apartment. Routes connect you directly to Cardiff Bay, Roath, and the city centre. From Cardiff Airport: Approx. 30–35 minutes by taxi or ride-share Or take a train from Rhoose Cardiff International Airport station to Cardiff Central, then walk or take a short taxi ride

We stayed as a group here for 3 nights, very clean, right near the Tesco and city centre. Walking around at night was a little bit rough however, if u keep to yourself was fine. Great host, lovely kitchen and good communication about check in❣️

Clean and well equipped within easy walking distance of the centre. Didn’t feel very safe walking here at night but it was quiet once inside.

We had a lovely family trip to Cardiff and enjoyed staying here. It was clean, spacious and Rebecca was so speedy at communicating with us. It is close to the train station making travelling with kids easy. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was clean and very tidy and the host was very responsive. The smell of damp in the kitchen was overwhelming especially in the cupboards where the crockery is kept. The shower head fell off on my head on first use and the shower gel dispenser was empty. The beds were so bouncy that if you turned over in bed the other person nearly bounced out. The outside area had packs of long cigarette papers outside the back door, a large stone had fallen from the neighbouring wall which made me think… thank goodness no one was standing there! There is a building site across the road which is very noisy. It did not feel particularly a safe area at night.

Rowan is set across two floors, offering a bright and welcoming home-from-home for up to four guests. Upstairs, you’ll find two comfortable double bedrooms, while the ground floor features an open-plan kitchen/living area with a large sofa and 42" Smart TV.
The fully equipped kitchen includes an island with bar stools, a dishwasher, and everything you need for dining in. Adjacent is a sleek shower room with toilet, basin, shower enclosure, and luxury Welsh toiletries from The Goodwash Company.
A private enclosed yard off the kitchen provides simple outdoor space or bike storage — perfect for guests exploring the city on foot or wheels.

Paid on-street parking is available nearby, and there’s an EV charging point just a 1-minute walk away.
The bedrooms are accessed by stairs and may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
