About this House
The House is only rented as an entire property, so our guests have access to ALL areas of the property, including the Front and Back Garden, all bedrooms and communal areas.
The Social is located in the Cathays area of Cardiff, close to the City Centre, Universities, Cardiff Castle, Bute Park and so much more. With many independent Shops, Restaurants, Pubs and Bars in the neighbourhood, you will never be short of places to hangout and then when you're ready, Cardiff City Centre is only a few minutes away. You can get a Taxi/Uber to the city centre in minutes or walk to many of Cardiff’s famous landmarks including Sofia Gardens, Cardiff Castle, Bute Park, The Principality Stadium, St David's Shopping Center and many more. The Train station is only a short walk and connects directly to Cardiff Central and Cardiff Queen Street Stations. We provide a Parking Permit for one car via the permit system. This is given by our team upon arrival at “The Social”. There are car parks in the surrounding area and new Pay & Display systems being installed on many of the streets in the area. The nearest large car park is NCP Car Park Cardiff Dumfries Place. (10 Min Walk) Check out the MiPermit system, where you can register for all cashless parking in Cardiff. The Park Cardiff App is also very useful to find available parking spaces in all car parks around Cardiff City.

Jay was very friendly and responsive. We were allowed to check in early and check out later, which contributed to great service from the host. The house was in a good location in Cardiff, walking distance from many shops and restaurants, as well as being in walking distance from the city centre. The communal area’s of the house were spacious and nicely fitted out (the kitchen and the 2 lounges), however the bedrooms didn’t live up to our expectations, as they were small, fitted out with cheap furniture and poor quality mattresses. We were otherwise impressed with the house, it had cool features such as a huge dressing room as you walk in, which is handy for large groups, and multiple bathrooms which were of good quality. Overall, apart from being slightly disappointed by the quality of the bedrooms, we were impressed by the rest of the house as well as the service from Jay, and I would definitely recommend it for a short break to Cardiff for large groups.

We are a young and fun team that run Social getaways, so if you need tips on where to go out for dinner and drinks, tables booking at clubs, great places to visit, fantastic walking routes and outdoor activity centres, the best shops in town or anything else, we are always available by phone and email.
We will endeavour to make sure you get everything you need for the perfect trip.

- Quiet time after 11pm
- No Additional Visitors. The maximum property capacity is 16 people.
- No Parties
- No smoking inside the house. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in the ashtray provided in the backyard of the property.
- Please leave shoes downstairs
- No eating or drinking in bedrooms. Please enjoy your meal in the dining room.
- Wash the dishes, and throw out the rubbish before checkout.
- Help our Carbon Footprint by putting all bottles, cans and plastics in the Green Recycling Bags
- Make sure to turn off the lights and any electronics when you leave the house. - Don’t forget to close the windows and lock the door.
- All other waste to be stored in normal waste bags
- Please close all windows and lock the doors before leaving the property
- Report any damages and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner. Damages exceeding the security deposit amount must be paid by guests and will be reported to Airbnb.

The Social is the perfect accommodation for Large Groups looking to enjoy everything Cardiff has to offer.
With High Speed WiFi, Netflix, a Male/Female dressing and pamper room, fantastic open plan living/dining room, beautifully designed bedrooms, a great outdoor space with a BBQ & Pallet furniture and so much more, we know you’ll never forget us.
We even have our own hidden Prosecco & Beer Buckets embedded in the dining room table, which goes down well with all our Hen & Stag Groups.
There are 8 Beautifully dressed bedrooms that allow up to 16 guests to stay at any one time.
We can also offer 4 additional beds at an extra cost to take the total capacity up to 20. (These are on request only basis and incur an extra charge)
With our very own Female Dressing and Make Up Room, partnerships with local Make Up Artists, Hairdressers/Barbers, Wedding Specialists, Cocktail Making Professionals and more, we have everything covered so you can just sit back and enjoy your stay.
